Lot of fans are upset with the one year Pezet deal, and I understand that. But let's look at the calls Ryles has made since joining the club.
Gutho and RCG getting moved on immediately got some backlash as well, big call but Ryles was correct. Lot of people didn't like this at the time.
Brought in his own group of players that fit the system he wants to play, might not be big names but they fit the style. Jack Williams Dylan Walker types.
Sean Russell the most hated eel on the roster. Ryles has given him the confidence to be a starter. He's taken that and run with it.
Give this loan with Pezet thing a chance and let's see what else happens around that before throwing all the toys out of the cot.

They won the game and Cleary didn't have to kick the ball every time lol. It worked
That's because Cleary wasn't up to the task.
Why the laughing emoji after every post Eli?
Even if it's not a funny comment you post that emoji.
Funny guy.
First time i've seen you show a slight sense of anger NOS. It is different but also nice to see haha.
I agree with NOS, cant see any benifit with Pezet being here for 1 yr. Did you watch his games, except for his last game where he played ok he has been very average and a work in process and I would say not even NRL standard. Joash is actually further along than Pezet and will be stunted in growth for a player who brings nothing. So will the juniors as they can only play so many in reserve grade. To me and only my opinion watching Ryles in press conferences after game reminds me of someone trying to be 1 of the boys. As for being a straight shooter he has proven by all the BS the club and him has delivered with this signing that he is as big a bull s****r as the rest of the coaches and not a straight shooter at all. He speaks and acts like a fruitloop to me. All this is on him no one else at the club.
I just haven't seen enough of Pezet playing in the nrl to make any huge judgement calls on him. Ryles would know him better then most but so I'll back him on this.
Joash is a fullback
you don't know that he can play 5/8 as well?
Player called Darren Lockyer was a full back, guess what, he could play 5/8 as well.
Lockyer is the prime example but if that rationale is the case, why didn't Hayne work at 5/8? Ponga? Two world class Fullbacks who failed in their move to 5/8. Just cause he can play Fullback doesn't mean he will be a great 5/8. Not saying Joash cannot turn into a 5/8, but using that notion is false.
It is an issue with not just us but NRL fans, when there is a great Fullback, the talk turns to "Let's put him into the halves".
Locky was also halves level smart and he had a brilliant coach. Makes a huge difference. There's been for more fullbacks fail at the transition than have been successful.
