Who Wins the Grand Final?

Considering I don't like either of these teams for different reasons I'm going to go with a Melbourne Storm victory by 10+. I'm really looking forward to 2025 season and I reckon the Eels will make the top 4. It would be good to see other teams dominate instead of Penrith, Storm and Roosters.

  • With Klein as ref most are feeling the riff will be certainties 🤔

    • And with Atkins in bunker, they must be feeling sure, hopefully too sure, but then it's storm to win ewww! Hate em all.
can't believe papa Cleary wasn't booked for his comments naming the bunker ref last week hoping he wouldn't get the gig. No rules apply to Cleary apparently.

only hope is Atkins buggers up bad and fades off into wenty land haha

  • Melbourne storm in a close one, Penrith will have the advantage upfront especially with NAS missing, YEO, Martin, Fisher Harris all have big game experience but watching them last week they look clunky and it took some individual brilliance from Nathan to get the panthers going - storm look engerised, hungry and primed for a GF win, panthers will have a hard time shutting down Paps, Munster & especially Hughes who is in career best form. Now to the eels, if Ryles and the team behind can get us into the top 8 that's a really good start and definitely a pass mark.

  • Melbourne I think will end the Panthers run ...wonder who will have that Mark Bugden moment for the storm ....im still burning about 1984 lol  we should have won 6 in a row

    • Yep definitely should have been 4 straight. Annoyed also about the 2021 Finals game between Eels & Panthers when the trainer ran down the field and stoped the game with Eels on the try line.

  • With NAS I reckon Melbourne clear favourites. Without NAS it will be closer but Melbourne to get it done.

  • I think Melbourne are looking better and should get the job done, 4-6 points.

  • Penrith. After seeing what Cleary did last year on the big stage , and how he pulled us apart in the GF , he's a dead set genius at this level nobody comes remotely near him . Cant go past him and Luai . Munster and Hughes are great , but Cleary and Luai are better. This will be Penriths 4th and last of this eras premiership .

I hope Munster is primed , that will make it a real game.

  • WHO CARES.. backing either one is like choosing a night with your ex or your sister...

On a serious note, I would have agreed Melbourne until Asofa -Solomona was confirmed suspended.. now I think flip a coin.

  • It's not us so who gives a fuck!

"I read a few eels forums and there is always lots of infighting. Seperating the politics is a good idea as it is toxic and devisive. I actually think think the quality of this site has improved somewhat in the last year or so. "
