Yeah great tackle on Trindall just then. Seriously plays well against an average Wests team and scores one try tonight and it's "why did we let this guy go?"
Like Talakai all over again. Let him have a full year at 1 before we start mourning our loss. So far I'm happy with Iongi.
Hes played Centre in all his NSW cup games this year. In those games he has a 66% tackle efficiency. Thats why, his defence is average.
You put him into our team now and not much changes. His defence is suspect at best. He has pace, nice footwork but he's not doing much for us on Wing or Centre, since we have Iongi at Fullback. many would complain about his defence.
Lol and yet there were people weeks ago saying Russell extending was a fail by MON. Russell had a poor last few games as well, since his concussion hasn't been the same unfortunately. But you mean most talented back? JAC would love to have a chat.
You can get better than Faulolo for 2027 at the moment. Jenkins, Timoko, Xerri to name some.
I'm not talking about 1st grade, I'm talking about what's coming through? Tago, Nanva, Allemadine, dunster, Harper etc and all the other nuffys. When was the last time we produced a gun outside back? Jacob Loko?
But that’s exactly my point if it’s “not about first grade”, then why are people carrying on like we’ve lost some future superstar already?
Pathways discussion is one thing. Actual impact on the NRL side is another.
Right now Faulalo looks like a decent prospect with clear strengths and weaknesses. Pace and footwork? Absolutely. Defence and consistency? Still questionable.
So when people reply “of course he’s a Parra junior” after one good game, they’re clearly talking like we’ve let go of some guaranteed gun. That’s what I disagree with.
I’m fine criticising our outside back development overall. I just think fans massively overcorrect every time an ex-junior has a highlight moment elsewhere.
Though to your question, last gun well according to you Russell would be the last one we produced since he is the most talented we have right now.

Parra Jnr I think.
Of course he is
Didn't debut til 24. Why did it take so long? Other clubs didn't go him either.
Some guys can be late bloomers. You look at guys like Dunster and Tago and neither have an ounce of talent that Clayton has

Yeah you're right our NSW cup is packed with talented outside backs. Our talent identification is on point 🙄 Our most talented is leaving to Perth ffs

If you are not talking FG then what are we talking about with Faulalo? If you are not referring to him in FG what is the point of talking about him?
