With it looking very likely that Lachlan Galvin will not be joining us who will be our 6 next year?
Here some options
-Bailey Hayward looked good replacing Burton and pathway blocked to start in the halves.
- Ronald Volkman
- Lorenzo Tailatana
-Lachlan Cokknias
- Jonah Pezent

Agreed and the cost a bit too
I'd go after Mitch Wood from the puppies, he will develop his game better under a SOO half
Firstly Woods is a 7, we need a 6 and secondly the dogs won't be letting him go, their long term plan will be Woods 7, Galvin 6.
Go after Sandon Smith and Longi on the bench and Buy Forwards lots of them i think Paulo retire at the year end
so as you can see we got heaps of money left. Ofcourse we could use depth in couple spots (outside backs and props) but in terms of buying big money players we only may need to look in 2 spots. 5/8 if they don't back the players (personally I would back Lorenzo). However we need to definitely buy a top middle to partner/replace Paulo.
a team is definitely building on the back of developing players from within. Just need to fill the gaps from the market.
I think we need to buy 1 centre 1 five eight 2 props 1 2rd rower who i dont know
We got the money and got to use it to
I know we have plenty of cap space, but there is no one special for 2026.
We should minimize our recruitment for next year and continue promoting and sifting through those juniours. We'll have a better idea by April 2027 of what we need and what opportunities are there in the market. Even by end of this year.
There is plenty of talent that we can look at it for 2027. Haas, Farnworth, Tracey, Metcalf, Naufahu Whyte, Keeley, Hosking, Koloamatangi, Fermor, Angus Crichton, Murray Taulagi are all out of contract by end of 2026. Someone will resign but it's a better market.
It's not doom and gloom like most here are saying Tatiana is the key.
But it is because what does it say about our recruitment and retention it's farked.
We've lost Sanders Talagi and DB in 12 months
We farked up our coaching chase for Bennett.
They we're very short odds to land Galvin Gus turns up and now he's off to the Dogs.
Doom and Gloom this shit it's a catastrophic fail and shows pure incompetence with regards to recruitment and retention.@Muttman mentions we've gone from a Kiwi 5/8 & depth to absolutely know one in the space of 12 months.
Whats stopping another club to come along and plunder more of our juniors there's no stopping it as players are openly willing to leave.
Lorenzo is one of the most naturally gifted young players I have seen in many years. Light feet, great eyes up game awareness, explosive speed and can tackle. I reckon they may not go all in on 5/8 and spend elsewhere and give Lorenzo another year or two.
