Look the person who runs the poddy goes to a lot events. He has met Joash numerous times and has grown fond of him as has his son who Joash has spent a lot of time with.
There is bias there of wanting him to succeed. Again, we've all done it at some point. In this case he is putting his fondness of Papali'i and wanting him to succeed over Parra success.
This is a wise outlook, people on here have completely unrealistic expectations. FFS he's started a handful of games at 5/8 and with what he's got there's stacks to work with. Everyone wants the finished product, the finished product either takes time or costs a shitload if you wish to purchase.
Eels now sit in 15th position on ladder which is same as last year I think.
This seems to be more about dropping Brown - that's done and dusted and Parra fans have moved on from that. No doubt we are in a transition looking for a replacement 5/8, with a couple of contenders already getting a look in. I'm expecting that process to ramp up over the off season, and Ryles himself said there coulod be a "smoky" in the mix. What that tells me is that Ryles is doing everything he can to find the right player, and for that, I'll trust the process.
I'd rather win games at a higher rate than 33%.
It seems that some people are more than satisfied with being good losers.
A good loser realises he can only control the controllable.
A bad loser is where he can control the controllable and still loses.
i dont think Ryles is going to jeapodise his job making Joash an out and out 5/8, but he may be looking bigger picture and could possibly be positioning Joash to become our very own version of Tyran Wishart and be able to cover a number of positions, in the halves, on a wing or Fullback.
im hoping Jayden Campbell comes on board, initially at 5/6, he could definitely follow moses and move the #7 at parra once Moses retires.
