It was funny to watch. He didn't actualy step him, he jiggled around a heap of times which made Gutho stand still and then just ran around him.
Gutho definitely has lost some speed, even slower than when he was with us. But also remember, he'd made about 200 run metres before that play and in those conditions he was absolutely buggered for sure.

Funny thing is dragons want Chevy Stewart for fullback and they are considering moving gutho to lock.

It's worked out for the best. Win-win. For all. Gutho has had a decent year for the Saints. Interestingly, there are rumours Saints are after a younger one, and Gutho might end up at lock as Ryles had planned. Will be an interesting watch.
And for this reason you don't listen to that fool Bulldog from 360, placing shit on Ryles for moving Gutho on.
Gutho was one of my favourite players when at parra, but he's probably got 2-3 years left in him max. Right move was made to bring in Iongi who should be our fullback for the next 10 years.
