Been thinking long and hard on how David beats Goliath tomorrow night.
Game management must be the key. Like I have mentioned previously Moses must stop refereeing on the run. I understand it's the captain's job to question the ref on certain things from time to time but watching Mitch since he has been back this has gone to another level, even more than in the past. So please mate find a healthy balance of this.
I am a fan of the early kick in sets for a few reasons and circumstances, I think tomorrow night this should be implemented if we get ourselves into a position to do so. Turning the forwards around in the wet, chase hard and do our best to pin them down in there end. Rinse and repeat and hope we have the game MANAGEMENT to create our opportunity to score and in doing so depleting there tanks. Moses has the kicking game for this to happen but needs to MANAGE this better as I feel his kicking game has been below par. Taking them on up the middle is also an option but I fear we are lacking some grunt. Playing to the edges in the wet is problematic in the wet.
Sounds simple but rugby league is a simple game with simple tactics .
Just a thought, would be interested to hear other ways we get take down this particular feathered monster.
I will be backing David tomorrow night for an upset then checking myself into the Betty Ford clinic.
