This sounds more like wanting what's best for a player over what's best for the club.
We have better options and Ryles needs to do just that
Joash can play but I don't think he's best suited to the mentioned position.
So what your really saying is your trying to manufacture the mentioned into a 6.
Square peg meet round hole now let's knock off those edges.
We've seen even with a Kayln Ponga the move from fullback to 5/8 can be painful. Doesn't always work Joash looks much more comfortable at flb
I love papa passion. I think their all in on Lorenzo. Whether he is ready next year. We will see.
Darren, me too. Kudos to Ryles for sticking with the young guys, giving them every opportunity to develop, regardless of any noise. Us couch warriors aren't there with Joash day-to-day. Coach Ryles is.
Said this earlier - I think Ryles is most likely trying to make the best of the situation he has to deal with in terms of players. Needing to keep Hawkins fit in the high probability that Moses is injured/unavailable again. Soft tissue injuries are notorious for lingering without proper recovery and the same with his foot injury. The fact Ryles is persisting tells me he has basically been told 'deal with it' from the powers that be. 2026 isn't looking much better
Easily impressed, that's all I'm gonna say
The big question is if he can learn to play straight and dig in? If not, can't see him making it as a 5/8.
My take is it's some armchair expert just like us having his opinion no different than he's most likley done on here under whatever name he goes by .
