We are getting better in a short amount of time, with a big roster turnover, a team full of youngsters and a massive amount of salary cap space available in 2026. Personally, I couldn't ask for more in his first season.
*Side note, the game now due to the rule changes and officiating is so hard to follow and want to watch. It's now beyond a joke. I don't watch any other games these days except for the eels. The Simmonson penalty says it all and the reason why.
Have a good weekend ✌️

Well said Bert, agreed 100%
Yep agree.100%..
I'm still baffled about the obstruction try , the Addo Carr play the ball penalty , the fact they didn't reveiw the put down of the first Sharks try , and not to mention the major one also the Simmonson one. That game was probably one of the biggest hoaxes I think we've been on the end of since The Ricky Stuart days when we had some total howlers go against us.
The only smart thing I think I've ever heard Stuart say was that when a teams struggling down the bottom it way for the match officials to pre determine which way a result should go so find themsves subconsciously influencing it to go that way. Not a truer word has been spoken by that flop.
I find myself screaming at the TV only due to the officiating and ridiculous penalties mate.
Remember the days when you only did that because the opposition scored a try.
The games a complete farce and harder to watch or want to follow each year. A penalty can be blown on every tackle or set if the referee or bunker wants.
As soon as the Simmonson replay came up and slowed down for the second time I said "here we go"
With you Wiz on the first Stonestreet try.I thought much like the Mulitalo gaffe Stonestreet spilled it on the line but they weren't interested.
Half of me says these referees don't want close games especially when a top tier side is playing the bottom they'll get the top side out in front and it makes there job easier.
The JAC play the ball was a joke, don't police it for weeks and 98% of play the balls are the same.
To be fair JAC was warned and this is what will drive Tad crazy mental errors that's what JaC made regardless of what's going on around the nrl or how it's officiated. That's just a lazy error from the mentioned.
Hi Coryn I still haven,t managed to watch the game so much happening at home. I like many aspects of how we played against Wests and thought if they could build on that game with consistency we could end up with a decent season. JAC I think adds a lot to our side with his energy and class. I seriously think that Ryley,s should explore the science other athletes use around mental disciplines as part of his coaching development. If he does that he ill make good players much better. Lots of good players who joined the storm have improved their game quite significantly.I think the Storm have those mental disciplines as part of their game. I like your contributions mate and have said that a few times before.
How do you spend the halftime break?Do you get more overloaded with more things to do and how does that work?. The easiest way to clean your mind of hyped up mental energy and more things to think about takes you put of the " moment". When you're head is full of what to do or release anger or emotions you lose the " moment" confronting you and that's when errors occur . I would spend the half time simply trying to quieten the mind and focus on the now. The players are well trained in many aspects of their game and don't need coaching at half time.Telling them to put more " effort" in is not a help to a noisy mind. It doesn't cost much to include that in your daily routine. Once it becomes a habit your temperament and judgements will improve in every aspect of your life particularly when under stress .I would have player lie down in a quiet energy environment and simply learn how to breathe for 10 minutes.
Saw some guy called Wally Lewis punch out a Winnie Red directly before play resumed....and he went good. To me it is whatever works for you. Overthinkers are gonna overthink, which for them is just enough thinking.
Whatever gets you through
