Well done Jason Ryles.

We are getting better in a short amount of time, with a big roster turnover, a team full of youngsters and a massive amount of salary cap space available in 2026. Personally, I couldn't ask for more in his first season.

*Side note, the game now due to the rule changes and officiating is so hard to follow and want to watch. It's now beyond a joke. I don't watch any other games these days except for the eels. The Simmonson penalty says it all and the reason why.

Have a good weekend ✌️

Its an avenue that needs to be explored more for sure throughout the grades so when potential talent reaches FG it becomes part of the equation for a player.

    • Subconscious bias is what I call it. How good would it be for a match to be refereed the way it unfolded?

  • I'm with ya baby

even vossy on fox said we have made amazing progress since the beginning of the season

I'm not feeling at all cranky

we are competing , we are in it

we don't have a team that has played together very long at all as a whole for cohesiveness

we will not be spooners because we are incrementally making progress

I haven't forgotten about seeing you and fam for dinner - prognosis is bad atm but I'll chat soon

    • Yeah sorry Carlo, I'm always late/forget on the DM's. Hope you are well amiga and we will definitely catch up soon. x

  • Can hear Toovey yelling "there has to be an investigation"

  • He is doing a good job and starting to look like he can coach.

To think there were people on this site declaring he couldn't coach after the first 2-3 games was hilarious.  It was way too early,  and still is, to make a call either way.

    • You mentioned Iongi before but in actual fact it's the team as a whole. There's just to many errors at crucial times and the worst part they do it at the wrong end of the park in every game and have done it all year.

Discipline and individuals taking responsibility for there action has to improve..

  • Samrani needs some fitness but man to make 15 tackles not a single miss and to be peppered on an edge when you have only played 2 games on the edge in Cup in your 3rd NRL game. Samrani could be the back-rower we are looking for. Again needs some strength and a full pre-season but keep him on the bench for the rest of the year and grow him into that spot for 2026.

But yes Ryles is starting to show his style, dumb penalties but at same time we are a young team, one of the youngest in the comp. Iongi had a bad drop but will improve in time.

    • I only said Samrani being a rookie in my first rookie report before a ball was kicked this season.

      • He has the makings of a class back-rower. Size, speed and defence.

"True Poppa, having someone that can fill both spots in a pinch. I reckon last time we had that was probably Finch in 2010's. Norman could take control but effected his game too much. "

"I wonder if Ryles prefers a rookie or someone who has FG experience. Galvin and Smith fit that bill. But Sanders, being left footed too, could be an option. Though i do find it very odd, surprising to myself too, that Sanders has not been close to…"

"Ok so you are overall saying how the club handled Brown with not overreacting? I thought your post was that we handled him deciding to leave well. That is where i was going with it. "

"If you cannot offer anything constructive, don't say anything you pathetic fool. He is the NZ Test incumbent and was MOM in the world cup final......no one is interested in your views."
