        • Okay, my take is that the Storm know this, and they can't have it drag out otherwise they lose out on him joining during Strom's pre-season, and a delayed court case will cost them more than he's actually worth, so they've tried to bring in the NRL to strong-arm Parra into a forced early decision hoping we won't fight.

Well we are. I think they will see what the first early result is through the Supreme Courts, and make a decision based in what direction the wind is blowing. If it's going to be a difficult battle, watch Lomax get dropped quickly and V'landy's step in to try and go around the legal procedures. His priority is the NRL, and the team's the NRL owns, not Parra.

Then you'll see bullshit PR assault on Parra celebrating Storm's approach to try and save Lomax and his career, and then shit-canning Parra the next couple of weeks to force them into a crappy deal so we can all just "move on" and not disrupt the 2026 season before it begins.

          • Your take is so wrong Clint, I am listing hereunder a direct quote from the clubs advice via Mathew Beach;s statement of Parra commencing legal action!

“Our coaching staff, players, Members and fans would not expect us to consent to the release based on what has been offered, and therefore we have no alternative but to pursue legal action to enforce the terms of the release and protect the rights of our Club.”

Now take note and I do not believe it has to be said, the NRL are powerless to do anything until after the court rules on Parra's right to enforce it. The NRL has no rights and its not in their interest's to see Lomax win those rights.

Why go on "crying poor me" you just make Parramatta seem useless and inconsequentual. There actions to date are nothing of that sort!

Just let off the NRL bashing, it might make you and others  feel better, but it does nothing to enforce our case. Just be patient and let the courts do their job and Parramatta can hold on to its dignity. Public support across the spectrum is in our favour. Don't blow it by acting like losers.

            PS

The Melbourne Storm is 100% privately owned by a consortium of Melbourne-based businessmen, having transitioned away from News Ltd ownership in 2013. The ownership group is led by Chairman Matt Tripp, alongside Bart Campbell, Gerry Ryan OAM, and Brett Ralph. The club is held under Holding M.S. Australia Pty
            • "Just let off the NRL bashing..."

HAHAHAHAHA, WHY? They have done nothing to support our cause and even attempted to mediate a rather insulting peace deal. They have shown absolutely ZERO leadership in this area.

          • Hoping Beach and Sarantinos are made of sterner stuff than their forebears. They seem up for it

  • Lomax!  Sneaky, snake in the grass. Could nor trust him to not burn your toast.

  • Japan please give Zac a job

    • No-one wants to eat raw fish off a hairy smelly aussie who will stand up & walk out in the middle of your meal

  • All I know is Parra need to win this case the bigger picture needs it.You would like to think this is an open and shit case but I feel the devil is in the details and fine print.

Hope the fine print goes in our favour there's big picture ramifications if we can't get this van over the line.
