Tyrell Sloan

Played over 50 first grade games, plenty of speed very talented and can play multiple positions ready to find his potential in the right team and I'd imagine at a bargain price.. Definately more upside then a few of the flops we have now! Do we try and sign him?

  • Jesus Christ.

  • So let me get this straight, you have issues with Penisini due to his defence and errors, but are happy with Sloan who is worse in both areas?

    • Can you please bring up stats over the last two years in tries scored.. both are shit in defence but least give him a chance in a new system.

      • All well and good scoring 2 if you give up 3 in the process as well giving back possession more often. Plus one plays Centre and one plays Wing, on average how many more tries to Wingers score compared to Centre? That arguement is a poor one.

    • If you had to pick two players from either Sloan, Russell and Penisini... I think Sloan will be one of the two you'd pick. All three have their deficiencies but there's one thing you can't coach, and that's speed.

You could be easily move Lomax in the centres with a license to roam and do his thing in attack and have Sloan on the wing. With the right coaching and style of play, he could be a real X factor out wide. Imagine having two race horses in JAC and Sloan on the wings.
