Galvin may have only of said he was interested in Parramatta to say no. Would still be pissed for being rejected. This will be his 4th club in a few years. Probably best we didn't sign him. Twiddle can't be too far away in development.
The dogs have been after Galvin since the start of the season, probably even longer than that. The eels only became interested after dylan decided to leave and Galvin decided to not re-sign with the tigers.
Don't believe we were the front runners and the dogs came in late, it was the other way around.
Now it looks like another player Mahoney is being shopped around, another player with a contract that gets let go and $$$ owing disappear into space.

They have been shopping mahoney since the off-season, it was mentioned he was offered back to us.
This move definitely has the ability to derail this season for the dogs, some players are going to be shafted by this move and it could really have a negative impact on the bond the playing group seem to have developed.
At what point does the NRL stop burying it's head in the sand. There is no way the dogs can be under the cap, and if this is true, it is just making a joke of the cap.
"Honestly can't wait until we play the dogs over the June long weekend now.
I'll be there and I hope we put the dogs to the sword. I reckon Moses and co might get up for this game now big time."
"I think the development aspect is all rubbish. He wants to win premierships, simple as that. Plus the slightest element of development he trusts Luke Vella who coached him at Westfields Sports High."
"Exactly.
Why was none of that enough? Was it the Eels falling short or was he always headed to the Dogs?
And the problem is, the truth doesn't really matter when it's this public. The fact the Eels couldn't convince a player they wanted & needed…"

Am I disappointed?, yes but not distraught. The worrying thing about this for me is have the eels gone all in on Galvin and not have a backup plan?.
One thing is clear, this surely has to be the final nail in a coffin for O'Neil, a coffin that should already have been nailed shut.
Gould on ch9 storey faced telling everyone the conversations with Galvin's management started on Wednesday, pffffft who does he think he is fooling.
Yup and the NRL will look the other way and do/say nothing.
Yup lying through his teeth. No credibility. Good on Joey calling him out saying " a month ago u said u weren't interested. What's changed? "
Gould look like he was stressed.
Effective immediately.
I have a feeling we are going for a bigger fish.
Gus only went for Galvin so that parra didn't get him
