  Well it is not end of the world for us. He has potentials but I hopefully we can get a good 5/8 for a lesser price. 
  It is not good news for us. Maybe his previous high school coach is really a big influence on his decision. 
  The win against Manly just proves the team can win games if they follow and trust the process. 

  In saying all of these, it also shows how incompetent MON is and should bow his head in shame.

  I really thought Parra would land him, oh well, I am used to us missing out on the big guns. He would have been a fantastic addition to the squad, but at least they can now focus all their attention on Sandon Smith. Hopefully, they use the millions they have in cap space to sign a heap of good young players and a couple of good hard heads.  The Roosters, for starters, have a heap of great 'prospects coming through and surely even they will struggle to keep them all under the cap. As for sacking MON, that is probably a bit harsh, let's wait and see who we recruit for 26 before jumping to conclusions.

  It’s called having baffoons in our head office

  This should be the final straw for both Jim Sarantinos and especially Mark O’Neill

  - eels fan and junior
  - playing alongside top 3 half in world
  - best training centre in the world

  AND

  -offered more money and a longer deal

  And they couldn’t get the deal done. It 100% shows they are incapable of taking this team where we need to go
