Today’s Game- Utterly Disgusting

After watching today's RSRL ( Repeat Six Rugby League) it's just so blatantly obvious that: 1) The NRL hates the Parramatta Eels 2) The the referee of today's game is by far the worst referee I've ever witnessed and his obvious favouritism towards Wests Tigers was basically for all to see 3) The Eels will not make the top eight 4) Signing Pezet and Kelly was a terrible decision 5) The NRL is definitely rigged 6) The difference between the fitness of Parra Players and other teams is gigantic 6) Are the Panthers on some natural supplements that makes them super fit and less injury prone 7) I'm seriously questioning the signing of Ryles as head coach.

        • The old adage is no referees, no game. It is true. However, the blatant protection of them too, there is no fear of doing a poor job as 9/10 you get picked the following week.

Not just on field ref, who can make human errors, the bunker i feel has less of an excuse. Both positions are paid handsomly for the privlige and can be held accountable at times.

          • Some of the ways to fix this game is make refs accountable for blatant obvious poor decisions, get rid of the set repeats or limit them to so many per game or only in a certain field position

  • Giving up a 10 point lead

Kicking the ball dwad on the 2nd tackle

Our last 20 of the first half all didn't help.

But the referee was very very poor

  • Yet our captain and the coach said the officiating wasn't the reason they lost the game so why are fans still living in that space when the mentioned are saying different.I mean if we win the game it doesn't rate a mention.I swear sometimes man.The referee is going to make mistakes it's happening weekly monthly yearly. As the coach and captain mention for the most part it isn't the officiating that's costing us games if anything the errors are consistent thing in football much like the players coaches front office make them.

I don't mind them I understand that no one's perfect and that's the real thing here fans want perfection from something that isn't possible there will be mistakes as mentioned above from everyone concerned but the referees did a poor job hell I thought we were very poor not securing the kickoff with a minute to go then committing the cardinal sin giving a way a penalty with a head high after it.

Then Walker a mile off side in golden point was the referee wrong there too I mean how longs a piece of string.

    • Just have to assume officiating will be terrible both ways in every game. We failed to own big moments. Pezet kicking tackle 1, TDS going short side when Moses was screaming for the ball. The goal kicking. And Jack Williams drop even if it was a strip that's a big moment. Also Brian Kelly dropping it constantly lol. Officiating isn't why we lost

  • If anyone gets a chance, watch the replay of when Moses went for the field goal, 3 tigers players were offside (not back the 10) but somehow the referee missed it , again.

    • This is what I thought too, I haven't seen the replay of Moses Field goal attempt, but they looked offside live. Such inconsistant crap.

Also there were plenty of comments in the game blog mentioning how bad the reffing was  so anyone saying if we win it won't rate a mention, it would definately rate a mention is kidding themselves

      • It seems this morning all the media want to talk about is Moses and his touching the ref and not the controversies, and because of that we all know who PVL now wants in the semi finals. Load up on Tigers. I'll say it again NRL is corrupt.

  • Aside from the game v the Broncos, it's fair to say the vast majority of 50/50 calls are not going our way. I do wonder if some of that is due to the way Moses communicates with them which is generally based on high emotions.
Cam Smith was without a doubt one of the better communicators and it was always very subtle and respectful. It could be as simple as waiting for a break in play to question the ref why we've had 5 set restarts against us on the 4th or 5th tackle and if there is anyone/anything in particular we need to address. It's respectful and it subtly gives the message that there has been a lot of set restarts late in the tackle count.
Yeo also does that well for Penrith
