Chris Binge, whose son Caleb alleged he was called "a black c . . t" by Tahu at an Aboriginal knockout carnival earlier this month, yesterday questioned whether the slow progress in the racism row was the result of officials wanting the matter to go away.
"If that's the case it's a sad state of affairs," Binge said. "It's just frustrating getting to this point and having no action.
"Everyone keeps saying he's not coming to the table. Just take it out of his hands.
"They have the evidence. For me, for someone who says he is innocent, he's not doing too much to prove it."
