Bulldogs style of play is completely different to how he wants to play as well. Whoever was advising him should be fired lol. His game is definitely regressing and the confidence has been drained from him
To early to say if Galvin made the right or wrong decision.
It doesn't look good now but down the track who knows.
Where he's playing now I think in 4-5 years time he'll be a 13 he's still got plenty of physical and mental maturity to add before I'll call him going to the dogs being the wrong decision.
Actually Id go for Matt Burton if that is possible. Gonna be very hard to get those two outta Melbourne esp when it comes to our recruiting efforts.
If we chased Burton I'd have him at centre. He's a big body out wide but can also drift in around the ruck as another 5/8 option, one each side of the ruck. He looked more dangerous in the centres last night than he has at 5/8 recently

We were prepared to offer Galvin similar. Whilst I totally agree with your assessment of a million bucks being huge overs , unfortunately I think it's what our shit recruitment team need to offer to entice anyone half decent to consider us.
You need to consider his value over what we currently have. In that respect it would have to be a hard NO.

IF you want him you contract him so what ever benefit you get is for the long term?
