Yes, that would be a good outcome for us. We dodged a massive bullet when we missed out on Galvin. He's an over-hyped nuffy with poor composure, questionable defence and a massive ego. He might make a reasonable lock-forward one day but I wouldn't wait around for that at his price point.

We would be no different to the dogs and Galvin if we chase Pezet. Galvin is a 5/8, trying to turn him into a 7. Pezet is a 7, and everyone wants to turn him into a 6.
I really like Pezet, I think he has plenty to offer. Im not sure Pezet is the best fit for the Eels moving forward. With Moses being so dominant and the input of Walker also providing some solid ball playing I think the best fit as a five eighth for the Eels is a slightly bigger body with a strong running game. A player like Strange or Walters would be a good fit.
Yes, but it is academic, I would not be comfortable paying 900k for Galvin, even if he is a better fit,=. our blokes copped out at 800.....and we were blessed, losing Brown the way we have is also a blessing and we were kissed on the "dick" missing Blaize Talagi for 550.....Blaize will still not work for Parra, if he came back tomorrow, the Cleary's have nursed him like a "new born" he could not touch Joash in the air as a fullback or Joash as a defensive 5/8 and his attack is left at running lines and chasing kicks, I still have yet to see him physically make a tackle break. BUT HE Does look PRETTY.
I'm sure there will be a marriage proposal coming through the media shortly!
The main thing I like about Joash is his character, can tell he wants to be at the club and wants to put his body on the line. If he can expand his game in attack over the offseason we have got something

Eli I agree on Joash is a complete club man and at only 21 these are the type of players the club needs, on Pezet he is a future star but as his father played foe parramatta never know the chances
The Newcastle Knights are set to rubber stamp the appointment of Justin Holbrook as the club’s new head coach at a board meeting on Monday night. It comes as the Sydney Roosters prepare to replace Holbrook, their current assistant coach, with former…

To think tigers offered him 1.2 million as well 😂

the difference is, moses can play number 6
But he won't want to do that, surely you can see that!
Michael W is absolutely right, Pezet is a 7 and not a running 5/8.
Burton (if he was gettable) is a perfect foil for Moses, don't forget we have expressed interest in Ponga as well?
