That idea that this is both desirable and possible....possible.....this is the part I am hung up on. So let's get one thing crystal clear. There is NO POSSIBLE in any of this radical twattery. There is NO silencing, suppressing and subjugating 30% of Australians. None. When 30% of a population attack another 30% the stench of death fills the air..but you want us to fucking get at it...mind-blowing, scary as fuck and naive as hell.
But...let's head to Fantasyland. The military and cops are ordered onboard your suicide bus pogrom and you are halfway to achieveing your'e Purity goal with "acceptable?" losses (nrl is tits-up history at this point btw....Vale Parra, we were ordinary).....but, ruh-roh,.the guerilla war is now primed and launching. This idea of actively suppressing/detaining a large chunk of ourselves is a deathwish...on those we love, on ourselves, on our way of life ...It is a fucking non-starter...You hear me out there?. Non-starter.
If you want to strip rights from groups of people, expect a proper fight. No rights are freely given. They are fought for, gained. They are won. First Nation folks started with us offering no rights. Women very few. I could go on. Good people died gaining the ability of their group to live with the same rights and rules as others. They fought for them. They persevered. If you try to remove rights from these people whilst maintaining your own, expect a hard pushback. Expect perseverance. Expect conflict.
If you value what we have here right now in Australia, fucking act like it sometimes.
If you value your loved ones, and I know you do, have a good long think about what is actually desirable for you and them...let alone possible
