COULD IT BE GOODBYE TO DYLAN BROWN?

I changed the heading as it a little misleading as it is  only my personal opinion that he will go to chooks and my opinion is no guarantee to be right .

I was at a Roosters charity luncheon today and unfortunately for eels fans they can say goodbye to Dylan Brown .

The Chooks have earmarked Dylan as their number one recruit when he comes on the market and he will replace Luke Keary who will have his last year at the Chooks next year and will be off to the Superleague ( no doubt they have seen that he is not quite the same player after his knee reconstruction )  unlike  other clubs the Chooks are always a couple of years ahead and always plan for the future well in advance .

The talk about Hass to the Roosters has actually worked as a smoke screen and has worked in their favour but soon we will hear whispers of Brown to the Chooks , the eels will have next to no chance of retaining Brown because when the Chooks target a player from a long way out they always get their man .

The media will keep on linking props to the Roosters as they assume that they will want to replace JWH but this is not the case as they have many youngsters coming through to take his spot , apparently SBW and Joey Manu have become good friends with Brown and no doubt that will play some kind of role especially with SBW .

I'll admit that I hammered Brown for his lack of attacking flair before this year as  many others did but he has proved us wrong and is a absolute gun of a player , the amount of Brett Kenny in his running game scary .

    • Grunts how are the eels meant to compete with the chooks ? The only way is by offering more cash and cash is all the eels can offer and the fact that the  eels can only offer cash is why they have lost so many players they wanted to keep because their entire squad is 100% all on that cap , players don't stay or sign with para for less because they know the club had nothing esle to offer them .

The chooks being the club they are can offer more then just contract money , they can  offer opportunities off the field that a player would otherwise never have , they can offer investment opportunities that players would otherwise never be privy to .

Roosters have access to the best of the best in the business world and can offer opportunities that others  can't which is why players want to go there .

      • And this is where this idea of a level playing field is an illusion, or delusion. Not sure which one. Perhaps both.

And this is why we need a heavyhitter with some footy nous, a mover and shaker, not just competent professionals; or we'll always be one, two or three steps behind. We can't build an empire otherwise.

Just have no idea where they're going to come from. They would have appeared by now if there was one who had a passion for the Eels.

        • I know a couple of heavy-hitters in the Favela's HOE. Leave it with me. They own all of the best real estate in Rio.

  • Cmon Frankie is this just some kinda piss take (for your own enjoyment) to suck us all in to some kinda "blog mania" here considering the current signing climate or legit.

are you a real supporter or a troll??????

  • Why attempt to spoil our feelings and happiness after his great game last weekend ?  I am not concerned as DYLAN is one of our best men this year in hoping for a grand final ( win hopefully) . Take one year at a time .

    • You seem to get good inside info so ill go with that.

  • Keary is contracted until 2024 at 850K per season according to zero tackle hard to say how accurate that figure is - I'm sure the clubs priority is to retain Dylan Brown, Moses & Penisini, can't see the club getting this one wrong.

    • I've heard 1.3m...

  • BREAKING NEWS: Dylan Brown commits to the Eels until 2027.

See anyone can make shit up.
