It's smart of Nick to show his strenght of character in suspending one of his own for 10 matches while at the same time showing his word is his bond.
Smarter still realising he could later ask for a 50% discount. Win Win.
I don't mind Nick doing his best, as long as our football dept. takes note of the strategy used, records it to be used when we have similiar issues in the future.
And if the NRL argues our case is not the same, so they can't find their way to agree, then stand our ground and be strong for once and fight the decision by airing our protest publicly....Gus-like.
Im just wondering how they manipulate their own suspension so he is back for Round 1.
End of the day. Honestly who cares, no one other then Politis was interested in any real suspension or penalty for what he did in the first place. For asking his mate to score for him he has paid a huge huge financial penalty as well. A $30,000 fine which he had to donate to cancer research at the St Vincent's Hospital further another $120,000 deduction in his salary as confirmed by channel 9 interview with Radley himself, and not playing in the ash's tests where English players get paid roughly $4000 Australian a game.
His penalty has been huge already. Let him play. Better still Roosters sack him so the Eels can sign him please.
The NRL are not the ones who suspended Radley because they had zero grounds to suspend him , chooks just like any other club have the right to do what they likebecause it is between club and player .

"You can't get a fair draw the way it is but you can make it fairer.
Traditionally the top 8 only changes with 1-2 new teams every season so going off the previous season is about as close as you can get to predicting the good teams from the bad,…"
