Samrani locked in centre?

Samrani man.In his short career his done more then penisni since 2022.
samrani gives us something we lacked since Lomax, presence in the air.can also come up with with some big plays like against the cows and intercept against newy.Although didn't win that game he still put us in It.

Defense needs work but will fix as time goes on.But attacking wise his been solid, tall lanky can find a offload and make smthing happen out of nothing.

Honestly I'd say get rid of the penis brothers, cause Richie always on the injury ward and wills been useless since 2022 and is somehow declining as the years go on.

id say go to market for a centre to replace will.Tago, timoko?and keep samrani in the other centre spot.Making this the 27 backline.

1.Isiah iongi

2.Bailey Simonsson

3.?

4.Jordan samrani

5.Josh addocarr

what do youse think?has samrani done enough to get the centre spot!

  • He'll suit an edge we need proper centres not make shift ones.

    • Respectfully you think we're gonna attract any centres to parra,no chance.well Herbies literally the dream or averillo but super duper unlikely with how shit our r&r team are.so samranis prob best option now cause we ain't doing shit on the market

      • I'm with you Roy, and also Sam is only a baby in footy experience and you'd expect him to improve immeasurably.

  • 100% better than the Penisini.

Only issue is he steps off his right foot and that leg will give in soon.

  • In Samrani's favour, he knows how to position his support runner, is just quick enough in space to position a support runner, and is a fair defender. But also, he seems to have 'good hands'. He picks up those passes others drop, and grounds balls others knock on.

Against Samrani is that he is a future backrower. We saw against Knights, with the intercept, that he was caught within about 30-40 metres. Sheer pace is not his go.

Maybe Samrani could be compared to Ben Smith, who started in the centres and shifted to the backrow?

  • Samrani has shown it isn't always the young players with massive hype that will succeed at NRL level.  Didn't have the wraps some other players have but there is a reason he was given an opportunity and has grabbed it.

Doesn't matter if a back rower or centre he will be a good player and seems to read the game better then others which helps his positioning to make up for his lack of pace.

Reminds me a bit of Capewell in that he can play centre but lack of speed is an issue.  He is unlikely to be best player on the field in a game but will always try his guts out, and will never be one of worse players on the field either.  Definitely suited to backrow but we need him at centre for now.
