I wouldn't put that pass our board. They'll be dumb enough to take Mahoney back so the Dogs can fit Galvin in their cap, and retain both their halves.
If the Eels board and MON have a spine, they'll be going hard at Woods or any young talent in that Dogs system Gus keeps raving on about. Those youngsters in their development system must be fuming. Tell them not to believe what Gus and their board is telling them.
It would be a knee-jerk reaction if we tried to get Sandon Smith now. What's the plan for one of the most important positions in the team? Surely the brains trust has put more thought into this than just sign any half who is available? (I doubt it)
Think cowboys are just showing interest but I'm guessing the eels haven't had a chance to go after him with all the Galvin stuff. Maybe he'd prefer to stay in Sydney so they definitely should at least ask the question. He would fit next to Moses
