Yep. You need your depth players to be versatile. Its why Russel is so valuable right now. It really helps in building a strong and well rounded top 30. One thing about Havilii, as a middle he has a well known trait off always finding his front when being tackled. He very rarley gets put on his back.
I feel like our biggest issue is the loyalty of our fans. The NRL make so much off us when we are pathetic , the uplift of us being successful isn't as lucrative as a club with less loyal ( stupid ) fans. Take Penrith as an example . Pre their Dynasty , you'd be flat out knowing a single Penrith fan. Now there's about 5 or 6 kids in my sons footy team that are Panthers fans. These kids will be the future generation of now Eels fans. How did Wollongong get so many Eels fans my age ? Wollongong is full of us , it's because of the 80s domination.
Right now , The NRL don't need to have a successfull Parramatta , we have shitloads of fans who keep throwing our money at the NRL no matter how shit we are and how badly the NRL treat us.

"Bingo. I've been in media boxes and overheard well known journos saying they've made up news because they didn't have anything. Or the journos do no digging beyond asking the manager. And managers will say whatever they need to get their client a…"

"While the focus is on juniors, as that is where you can offset the likes of the Roosters who poach talent, and close the gap from a salary cap perspective, we don't turn our nose up at recruiting externally where required.
Iongi a good example. We…"
"Melb are only seeing some locally produced come on now; we all know Melb is not RL; Easts the same and while frustrating they saw the Central Coast and pounced when others like us didn't."

That aged well Wiz!
We've signed JDB and are reportedly chasing a 32 year old Hooker , I'd say it's aging far better than your wrinkly old balls .,
my balls maybe old but they are not wrinkled, i can still get them in the side pocket off a good break!

This signing will push us into top 4 contenders next year
To be fair, the way the comp is , it wouldn't shock me to see us sitting 1st at seasons end in 2026. It all comes down to what the NRL want.,
If the NRL decides why not have Parra become a dynasty like Penrith? The amount of money they make on our fanbase and ratings?
