    • Having DeBelin join us is a great problem to have, the thing is now someone is going to miss out. I'm not sure who it should be?

      • Well it comes down to how Ryles wants his bench. 1-15 is pretty much set, just Simonsson and Kelly battle and two bench spots.

Bench, well we know TDS and Walker will be on the bench. Last two spots Ryles could want two middles or a middle and hybrid middle/edge.

Two middles between Moretti, Tuivaiti or Doorey

        Hybrid with Guymer

Or strictly a Back-rower in Tuilagi.

        Nice problem to have really.

        • It is hey, is Brian Kelly a done deal? Good pick up if true, for mine he is ahead of simonsson. I guess I'm a bit disappointed for papalli and Kautoga who have come along in leaps and bounds this year. I'm sure they will both get their chances throughout the year as opportunities arise.

          • Kelly is not a done deal, yet. Apparently the Titans are after a player, dont know who, if they get him they wont stand in Kelly's way. The other sticking point is we have offered Kelly 2yrs, he wants 3yrs.

            • I'd get the old bones to do cartwheels if they wanted Matterson.

On mega dollars this year and will be lucky to be picked in the starting side for Cup.

            • Well only player we want to get rid of would be Matto, makes no sense giving them anyone else of note. Names like Tago, R.Penisini, Mataele and perhaps Volkman but doubt they want any of them and stupid to swap a back for a back unless you have depth, we are signing Kelly to add to our depth.

The two years, yeah i agree on that. It said we were talking to Kelly about financials, does length include that? Plus then it said we tried to talk financial's over a release so more likely where the trade comes in with what we owe that player and what they owe Kelly.

I can see this falling through. Not saying it will but it is likely to fall through. I would look at Arthars, he will not be starting for Brisbane. He is 27 and had a good year this year. I did want Taulagi but price might be too high for what they want in Wingers and apparently eyeing returning to NZ.

              • Titans are not after one of ours. Been told they are after an outside back, if they get him they will release Kelly, if they dont the chances are they wont release him.

              • An update on Kelly. The outside back the Titans are chasing is Murray Taulagi from the cows, if they get him they will release Kelly, the Titans have also asked Parra for a swap deal for Guymer, we said no, not happening. Apparently we have offered Kelly a 3yr deal.
