Definitely nothing signed. We are in the mix. This will be the most important contract of Keons career. He's in his prime and will be looking to lock down a 4-5 year contract and get some security which you can understand. I doubt he stays at Souths tbh because WB won't pony up the $ that he can get on the open market. My concern is I feel we already have enough forwards with Keons body shape, he's definitely a good player and improves our squad but I'd love another big bopper. NAS definitely fits that mould. Great if we can get both
I reckon we can snag both and fuck off matto to become a online trader or something. He's such a greeedy fucka, if this was the NFL he'd be traded to the worst team for 7th rd pick.
Without banging on about the negative aspects of Matto, there is no doubt at his best he is a very very good player.This is contract year for Matto and he needs a big year to extend his career and get a half decent contract somewhere else. Could we not use a motivated Matto for just one more year?

With respect Angry eel I don't see Matto ever again able to get motivated. I believe he's used us to be rewarded for no effort.
So I don't want to see him given any more chances to disappoint this club. I'll be happy to see him play reserve grade for the entirety of '26 and then se him leave the club, finally.
