  I think it's moreso not how much and how.For me it's about how they went about it and the fact nobody knew the approach was being made.That's more so the key.South's used the fact that all the attention is around the Lomax Parra PVL NRL Supreme Court involvement to work in there favour to make this happen.
  
  Souths will have no problems fitting Haas in there cap no problems I don't even understand that entering the discussion.They have just signed the best foward in the game in his prime for the next 3 years.I mean us as an example are we even in the same area code.We threw a large contract at Galvin firstly then Kolomatangi and constantly come up short.At some point in time this has to change We lose Lomax and Brown 2 international and SoO type talents and replace them with journeymen and a rental I mean as above are we really in the business of competing for a premiership I'm beginning to wonder.
  
  We are a feel good story we are improving but if we aren't able to recruit on the same plain as the rest of the nrl and even our coach mentions how important this is are we really a serious threat.

TPA's and connections. What I will say, to get him to Parra it would cost $1.7-8 mil a year. Is that worth it for a Prop?

  Souths have 3 players on 1M or more in Murray, Latrell and Haas for 2027. None of them are playing in the spine either. They also got players on decent coin in Smith, Graham, Fifita, Wighton, Arrow, Gray, Tatola. Walker is probably going to retire so they will need to spend good money on a 5/8 as well.
  
  For 2027 we only have Moses in 1M cat. Go figure wtf we are doing?! Dont give me the BS we have upgraded player contract etc. It still doesnt make sense when you compare us to other clubs.

    But look at the rest of their squad. They have a lot of players that aren't great. Their halves are average and ageing, no junior players coming through and really have nobody guarenteed in their spine.
    Also let's be fair they would get better TPA's than most teams. And Bennett is a big factor.

      That's the thing though LB Haas will know all that but still signs on the dotted line and leaves a premiership winner in the same breath.That doesn't phase him because Wayne no doubt has outlined his plans to him.
      
      For me it's more so the ability for a team like South's who are in the rebuild/retool stakes that can attract a player of this ilk while we attract a Pezet rental and journeyman in Kelly and lose soO and international talent in Brown and Lomax.Especially when our coach talks about how important recruitment is are we serious about winning a premiership here if we can't compete in the recruitment stakes.

    Who's out there who deserves 1M+? I agree Haas, but no one available is worth it IMO. Haas, Tino, maybe a couple of the 6s if they become available. No one else we need deserves a 1M+ so why do we need to have ones other than Moses?
