I have been trying to get some information on this one but can’t seem to get anything back.
There has been a bit of a whisper doing the rounds that Ryan Matterson picked up a pretty bad head knock at training during the week. With Matterson’d history of concussions this could potentially be career threatening at this stage of his career
I will say when I was at training on Friday I did not see any sign of Matto in the oppose session and didn’t spot him in the injured players either.
But I also have heard he hasn’t been involved in a lot of things due to an interesting last 12 months with the club to say the least.
Matterson of course was a late withdrawal round 1 last year with an apparent back injury.

Saw him at fan day and not sure what others thought but he's body language looked off. Not so much rude but not much energy. Could have not been feeling well. Perhaps from concussion.
Should have shoved the Instagram app in front of his face, he'd know what to do then.

Maybe they just told him he had a headknock. "oh noes, it was terrible bad and you have.....amnesia. You needs to retire to live!!!"

Matto just doesn't want it anymore and I can understand that he's been in the game a long time had a decent enough career and he's just milking the payday until the finish.That's all that's going on here.He's been shopped around the clubs allowed him to test the waters here and overseas with no long term prospects.The end is nie for Matto,I don't see any silver lining in the playing stakes for this guy.
