Parra Lose 5 players can't sign shit. Souths lose Keon and sign Hass....go figure
It's just depressing at this point.We ain't got nothing exciting that can pull the big fish.fmd hopefully one day we can wake up to a big signing but oh well
Best way is to build a winning culture and keep those players around. Signing random stars doesn't do anything.

How the rabbits afford him I don't know. I would say there was massive TPA or deal done by Russel Crowe to support his family outside the cap as the 3 year deal from 2027 rules out R360.
He is friends with Fifita and obviously has links to Bennett but this would be about money as not like Souths are better than Broncos in chance to win premierships and busy Sydney life isn't as good as living in SE Qld. Especially as his younger brother already signed development deal with broncos and mum in Qld jail it is very strange deal. I wouldn't be surprised if he uses the cooling off period
TPA's and connections. What I will say, to get him to Parra it would cost $1.7-8 mil a year. Is that worth it for a Prop?
Souths have 3 players on 1M or more in Murray, Latrell and Haas for 2027. None of them are playing in the spine either. They also got players on decent coin in Smith, Graham, Fifita, Wighton, Arrow, Gray, Tatola. Walker is probably going to retire so they will need to spend good money on a 5/8 as well.
For 2027 we only have Moses in 1M cat. Go figure wtf we are doing?! Dont give me the BS we have upgraded player contract etc. It still doesnt make sense when you compare us to other clubs.
But look at the rest of their squad. They have a lot of players that aren't great. Their halves are average and ageing, no junior players coming through and really have nobody guarenteed in their spine.
Also let's be fair they would get better TPA's than most teams. And Bennett is a big factor.
A great signing for the Rabbitohs . Has to be some shuffling to fit them all in . Bennett has amazing pulling skills. Man manager/father figure is superseding his ability to coach . That is why he has quality assistants ..
