  • Parra Lose 5 players can't sign shit. Souths lose Keon and sign Hass....go figure

    • It's just depressing at this point. We ain't got nothing exciting that can pull the big fish.fmd hopefully one day we can wake up to a big signing but oh well

    • Best way is to build a winning culture and keep those players around. Signing random stars doesn't do anything.

      • Voice of reason

      • Here we go Eli and his false promises to the eels fan base

        • Adding Payne haas to a bunch of old injured Rabbitohs doesn't do anything 🤣

          • What on earth are you on about? Payne Haas is one of the most influential players by far. Had he signed with Eels, we'd be a near guarentee for top 4 come 2027. He makes any team competitive.

    • We did sign JDB 😝

Wouldn't surprise me if his mum is getting a transfer to Long Bay. Parra could have been in there had they pushed for her to transfer to Silverwater!
Clearly his mates Latrell/Fifita and super coach Bennett was the draw card. Surely Rusty would have had that Gladiator talk as well.

Any young props we could get from Soufs, given they would be stretched for salary cap?

This proud club of ours is very good at getting the scraps and leftovers.

  • How the rabbits afford him I don't know.  I would say there was massive TPA or deal done by Russel Crowe to support his family outside the cap as the 3 year deal from 2027 rules out R360.

He is friends with Fifita and obviously has links to Bennett but this would be about money as not like Souths are better than Broncos in chance to win premierships and busy Sydney life isn't as good as living in SE Qld.  Especially as his younger brother already signed development deal with broncos and mum in Qld jail it is very strange deal.  I wouldn't be surprised if he uses the cooling off period

  • TPA's and connections. What I will say, to get him to Parra it would cost $1.7-8 mil a year. Is that worth it for a Prop?
