I reckon the boys are going to finish the year strongly. It's a pretty good looking side now.
From the sounds of it, Loko continues to dominate. I don't think it was a coincidence that we failed to fire last week and he was out injured. Damn hard not to get excited about this kid. I would seriously have him training with the seniors in the off-season and I think I'd just throw him in there on Guru's wing from day one.

The Pirtek Parramatta Eels’ NYC side clashed with the Cowboys in round 18. The Eels club gave back to their loyal fans for this contest, playing at the NSW Cup home ground of Ringrose Park in Wentworthville.
Down 22-0 at half time, the Eels ran in five tries in a dominating second half performance, leaving faithful supporters cheering and smiling as their side almost pulled off a miracle. However, the scores remained deadlocked after the 80 minutes at 26-26.
The Cowboys had the arduous task of taking on the Eels away from the spotlight at an unusual ground and arriving a day before with short preparation. But the Queensland side showed just why they are the competition front -runners.
Poor discipline from the Eels early in the first half - giving a penalty away on the last tackle - gave the Cowboys a great attacking opportunity. Cowboys hooker James Segeyarosaw a gap and stormed over for the first try of the day; the score out to six with a successful conversion.
The Eels were under pressure early on, but great online defence from the Eels’ small men - the likes of Dean Blackman and Dan Cross - showed enormous resilience to the Cowboys’ attack on many occasions.
But after a turnover, the Cowboys took full advantage of the blunder, scoring from a set play off a scrum feed. Kyle Felot crossed in the corner and converted his own try, taking the lead out to 12.
12 quickly turned to 16, then 22 as the Cowboys’ other winger crossed for a double late in the first half. The Eels defence caught short on the left flank for Wayne Ulugia’s initial try and then it was déjà vu a few minutes later for his second.
When the Eels returned after oranges and down 22-0, they made the Cowboys look like wooden spoon contenders. Dan Cross, T.K Amosa, Pat O’Hanlon and Dean Blackman constantly toyed with the Cowboys defence.
In addition, Rory Brien and PJ Asiata continued their menacing defence, rocking Cowboys players’ heads back, with the contact being heard on the sideline. Eventually, errors were forced and from these the Eels went on the attack and never looked back.
Their first try came through a backline movement; Ryan Morgan finishing it off by running through four Cowboy defenders, touching down with his arm out-stretched.
Next, Dan Cross hoisted a kick up high for a soaring Daniel Tupou to grab it uncontested and fall to score the Eels second. However, two unconverted tries from the Eels kickers had the score at 22-8.
The game started to become physical, players from both sides coming together as the Cowboys became frustrated out of possession by the Eels who were now playing like champions.
Jacob Loko continuously played havoc on the left flank with his intimidating runs, making constant breaks. From one of these he managed to offload the ball to Dean Blackman who whisked the ball out to the right side where a waitingRyan Morgan breezed through for his second with 25 minutes remaining.
At 22-14, the Cowboys soon steadied the ship, but only momentarily as second phase play from Eels had the Cowboys again back pedalling.
The Eels edged closer through a Dean Blackman short pass onto the chest of blockbuster substitute Thomas Young, who barged over to have the Eels down by just two points and the players jumping for joy.
But the Cowboys did not give up, and on the back of a soft penalty scored in the corner taking the margin out to 6 with ten minutes to go. But as the Eels have done all season, they had the final say with Fred Lang-Siu storming over under the post.
With two minutes remaining and the score at 26 apiece, the Eels created further opportunities to win the match with Loko and Ken Sio teaming up down the left flank, but a try saving tackle stopped any miracle win for the Eels.

Big day mate?
Do you rate Tupou ?
I haven't seen enough of Tupou to form a judgement yet - he's looked good in the couple of games I have seen.
