As you can see by the names on the list we have many injuries which has resulted many RM players in this team.
- At fullback there is no Twiddle, Papaii or Martyn so Z Hunter is there as the 4th choice.
- There is no AMS, Russel (in NRL for Lomax) or Dunster (not sure what happened to Dunster again!!!) so Newlands played.
- There is no Volkman so M Hunter is the 5/8. Chosen over Lynn.
- In the forwards there is no Grieg, (suspended), Pryke (concussion), Lane (leave),Tuilagi (suspended), Doorey (in NRL for Tuivita), Keir, Lussick, T Brown (all injured)
So as you can see the list of unavailable players is massive. 15 Players !!!

Yep I would give him a couple games so he gets a taste of FG and so knows what he needs to develop more during cup and in the pre-season. But like I said, no rush as we are not even halfway through the season.
Out of curiosity you said u were keeping a eye on Haynes game how did the big fella go?
Hayne was actually good. Understandbly not as quick or elusive giving his size. Defensively he did not miss a tackle. Dropped one of their props on their back. Set up one try with a cut out pass. If he trimmed down I have no doubt he would make the cup team still.

Mate c'mon. He's 48 years old and 20kg over weight. Maybe Hindy could get a start?
I did say if he trimmed down. If he was proper fit and kept in shape I am confident he could handle cup level footy. I am not saying that will happen
Yeah EA, I saw it the same Hayne still has the vision and execution he's always had but feel he's content to play RM for the fun of it and can't be bothered to do the necessary to trim down sadly.
By the way EA what did you think of Valu the front-rower. I thought he killed it with his leg drive.
