The NRL has rejected Parramatta’s request for Salary Cap Dispensation.
The club has asked for dispensation following a number of injuries to top 30 players.
Parra has lost 3 players for the season and others for several weeks.
3 of the players lost long term were due to acts of foul play where the players committed the foul play were sin binned and suspended.

The Game is structurally fucked...we will continue to see 3-4 clubs compete for the GF for decades to come....A Draft is the only fair way to level out the teams and TPAs should be abolished.

For a draft to work, the NRL would need to pump money into schools as NRL clubs wouldn't be able to be affiliated with them. Same with junior clubs and catchment areas.
On top of that a draft can work, RLPA won't allow it to work.

Of course they rejected the club's request. When it happens to another club like Roosters or Storm in the future, those rules will change. 💯 guarantee it will happen.
This club is seen as piss weak, NRL have nothing to fear. Parra shouldn't put their hand up to go to Vegas either. Serves no purpose. Fck the NRL big wigs. Bring back Dennis Fitzgerald.

In fairness we chose to go into the season with 28 players including Matto

Still in the interest of a fair comp loosing players to foul play you could argue a case but also all teams get injuries and suspensions it happened to us this year and now its a write off of a season (again)

We took the pricks to court and won, of course they wouldn't give us leeway.
We low balled our starting squad by 2. No club has been given that type of dispensation.
If i'm ryles i'm installing its us v the nrl. Best way to get back is start winning some games. When the nrl want to acknowlegde tell them to fuck off. But we have a soft cock front office would any other club employ buckets,rodgers or jim no way
I mean I would have done the same thing. The NRL doesn't want to open this particular can of worms.
Our only shot at this was a backroom deal with the higher ups in the NRL, as soon as we spoke out of turn to the media I knew we were cooked.
