Ennis jerking off over d Brown.  Must have mentioned a dozen times how Newcastle have the greatest player in the comp. And him going "up the highway " to Newcastle will turn them into a huge force lol.

Ive never seen a commentator jerk off as much as Ennis.

Sure Newcastle have a fine player but 1.4 mil is totally ridiculous.   There's a reason why they are still the spoon favourites despite Brown's signature.  Do you think they'll be spoon favourites if they signed a Moses, Cleary,  Katoa or Jerome hughes or a dozen other players who are on much less than 1.4 mill.

Its a ridiculous contract and Ennis can't see it

              • Super, exactly. Dylan looked a million bucks and we know how talented he is.

But context matters. I was chatting to a former long-time international who was at the game and in the refs box and he said the thing you did.

That's what TV doesn't show you is how an intense Foran was barking orders all day and organizing the plays even telling Dylan where to position himself. That's something even Moses doesn't do quite as much.

The game opened up for the Kiwis after the first quarter with over 60% of ball. Almost 70% in the second half. Samoa made 61 missed tackles, 35 ineffective.

Foran, the Kiwis dominating possession and momentum after a first half Samoan assault, had the game gift wrapped for Dylan with his sublime natural talents. Sure.

I wouldn't be surprised if we hear fans ask: ''Why doesn't Dylan dominate like he does for NZ?" Just like at Parra. Then, it'll be he's so talented, just give him the ball and run. Well, that good if he has that amount of space to roam and someone to organize it all.

The thing is I've seen Dylan do things he did for NZ  do at Parra, just not in the same quantity and not every game and having to do far more in defence.

Shaun Johnson is right he's a great "flow state " guy not a "thinker". A doer. Even Foran admits Dylan is "cruisy" and isn't the "intense, thinker" that he is that can "see a game" is.

Let's wait and see how often the Knights can dominate possession and momentum, without an organizer who barks orders and positions everyone, or other teams make 100 missed/inneffective tackles. I'm still not convinced he's a seven or he's going to get all those stars aligning for him regularly. But I hope he proves me wrong because he's always had sublime talent.

  • Oh well got some promising juniors coming through the ranks. Who knows Sanders might return if he plays some decent footy at the raiders

    • Where do you think he would play? He is just another player now, if he comes back we can say he should never have left and blame MON.
