Ennis jerking off over d Brown.  Must have mentioned a dozen times how Newcastle have the greatest player in the comp. And him going "up the highway " to Newcastle will turn them into a huge force lol.

Ive never seen a commentator jerk off as much as Ennis.

Sure Newcastle have a fine player but 1.4 mil is totally ridiculous.   There's a reason why they are still the spoon favourites despite Brown's signature.  Do you think they'll be spoon favourites if they signed a Moses, Cleary,  Katoa or Jerome hughes or a dozen other players who are on much less than 1.4 mill.

Its a ridiculous contract and Ennis can't see it

              • He lasted two years of that supposed 8 year deal. It was never an 8 year deal.

      • True it would have been folly to try and compete with the knights offer but   Dylan was all class today.

Anybody who can't see that....well it's just sour grapes

        • Brown has been class for NZ before, too. Yet, that elite level of play, I'd say we have seen at Parramatta maybe two or three times in his entire tenure at the club. And it was only ever when Moses was firing.

        • 100 he's gone time to move on I just dislike seeing Parra juniors plying there trade elsewhere .

  • Sucks the knights had to come in with a ridiculous 1.4m offer. Oh well hopefully Lorenzo is the real deal

    • Sucks? It was idiotic. Regardless how he is playing the amount of players worth that much for 10 years you can count on one finger.

  • Well if we go by what Enmis said, DB will never get to Newcastle, because according to Ennis DB is going up the M3

  • Lol ennis average plsyer average opinion enough said

  • He has been my favourite player for eels since the year he made his debut for us. I always defended him. This year was the first time I questioned his attitude to the club as his form was definitely putrid. His defence had fallen off which was something he was always a gun at regardless of how poor someone people thought his attack was. Happy he had a great Pacific Championship. But next year he will be playing behind one of the worst forward packs in the nrl next season without a 7 to steer the team around and lead the gameplan. So I am not optimistic about how he will perform at the Knights.

    • @EA

Excellent summation EA, I would agree on everything you said.....I still maintain he was burn't out previous season ended, but it seems that the change, the break and the absence of pressure he felt when trying to be Moses BROWN has revitalised him somewhat.

His critics on here have had no idea what was thrust on him. Let's hope he is starting to learn.

Sometimes when players look like they don't care, they are badly misread. Mark Waugh as a cricketer comes to mind and the contrarian to that was Steve who was always so serious....both rediculous talents that expressed so in different ways.

Whilst highly critical of Blaize Talagi as I have been EA (i know you rate him highly) don't give up on him, whilst I will never be a fan I do admire the way Penrith (specifically the Cleary's) have mentored him....if he ever learns to tackle (no reason why he cant) then he will make it. I don't believe he ever would have made it under BA, but he was a chance under Ryles, when you look at the way he is handling our juniors.

I also know that you think I am too obtuse when dealing with you. Don't be upset, I just say it as I see it but still admire the work you have done in keeping us informed.

My guess is as you see more and more come through, you will know much more whats happening than what us "know alls" think we do! Lol
