    • Or maybe is not that good or we feel we have better.

  • I'd go with EA's judgement here who said we have more talented juniors in our squads and we should be preferring them, specifically Lorenzo.

    • Knights also offered Matt Hunter way more money than us apparently.

      • How did Hunter jump all of these other juniors EA I'd not heard of this guy upwards of a month ago.Was he that highly rated within the club or was he of an age he couldn't play anywhere else bar cup or RM ?

        • We only signed him this year (I think from QLD) and has rapdily developed in Jersey Flegg. So he is still JF eligble hence why he is there this week. Also been a spot for him in cup since Brown/Moses not playing. He has only overtaken Josh Lynn this year. Twiddle & Volkman are still ahead of him. Lorenzo is 2 years younger than him.

Lynn unfortunately has stalled in his development. No consistency in his performances  when he is the chief playmaker in the team. He is more suited to being Robin than Batman. He does not have high upside either and defensively he is shit. On the other hand, Hunter has been consistent and controlled the Jersey Flegg team to early season dominance. No coincidence that our JF team has started to be inconsistent when he went to cup. Defensively he is miles away from FG to be fair but he has been very good in attack this year.

          • So with that picture you've just painted I'm guessing our young guys are still a few years a way then no one ready or good enough to make the big jump ?

  • Mat Hunter ? I've never heard of her.  Sounds like someone who sneaks around peoples front porches at night .

    • Lol.. I don't mind munching a rug, but doormats are,.... like.... just DO NOT go down on Porch Monkeys

  • We've already locked up multiple development players until 2027-28 including Lorenzo who's taken Hunter's spot in cup.  There we're many ahead of him here, and there was minimal opportunity. His defence was poor and mistake rate high

It could also mean we are securing someone externally aswell.

"Stephano left to improve and has done so under Bellamey, if we retained him he would have continued to struggle with the poor direction he had, which was partially self imposed. I don't believe he improved at Tigers either.
