Mitchell has lit up the Eels attack coming on in the second half of Parramatta’s most recent matches against Brisbane and Wests. The fact that Parramatta is looking to start the up-tempo rake indicates the goal in this match will be to fire out of the blocks and put on as many points as possible.
That fits with Parramatta's decision to leave Jeff Robson out of the match, in favour of the more attacking duo of Kris Keating and Daniel Mortimer.
While Mitchell has been dynamic, the speed of the game has clearly had him blowing at times, so you can expect Matt Keating to come on in the back end of the first half, before Mitchell returns in the second stanza.
With scoring points the primary objective of tonight’s game you can be assured that Jarryd Hayne and Feleti Mateo are going to see plenty of ball. Coach Anderson will know his young halves combination weren’t a recipe for putting on tries when used together earlier in the season, so you can expect to see Hayne having plenty of involvement from a playmaker perspective and Mateo’s recent heavy involvement is also likely to continue.
The Rabbitohs are ripe for a flogging. Losing John Sutton is going to hurt them terribly and while they welcome Dave Taylor back from injury they lose Eddy Pettybourn. Taylor is likely to short on fitness and that won’t be helped by the fact that Souths’ lack of troops have forced Sam Burgess to move up to the front row.
What Parramatta need to do, and I’m sure they will, is attempt to play like they did in the last 20 minutes of the Wests Tigers match. That’s either going to go one of two ways. If they execute, they could rack up a big score against Souths but if they fail to control the ball and make too many errors they’re going to let Souths right into this match.

Question though, was Robson left out because he is injured? or are we just trying something new?
You would think that he would be sufficiently rested and be ready to use this to full effect in tonight's game.
