There's been plenty of criticism aimed at the Parramatta Eels lately for not securing Lachlan’s signature, but honestly, it's a huge positive that we didn’t make a knee-jerk decision to sign Michael Maguire.

Let’s be real—Madge has won just one of his last six, and his Donkeys are being flogged at Brookvale with a star-studded lineup. The signs aren’t great. There are already rumblings coming out of the Broncos camp about his intense style, and one player has already been shown the door.

It’s really starting to look like we dodged a bullet.

Meanwhile, Jason Ryles has done a far better job so far—working with a squad full of development players and dealing with key injuries in crucial positions. And yet, the effort and attitude have been spot on.

Go Rylsey!

  • Who been showing the Door i haven't heard of any one leaving

  • I don't rate Madge , but it's safe to say that anyone that's the NSW origin coach was never going to have the political support of the Broncos powerbrokers.  There would be so many disruptive influences there wanting him to fail, the only way that works is if he imports a whole bunch of fresh meat. Either that or doing a Fitzy and banning their club legends from the joint.

  • I think Ryles is turning out to be a very good coach

  • Nobody needed psychic skills to anticipate what is unfolding at the Broncos.
Madge took full advantage of the wave of cheaply-earned-cache he received from the '24 Origin series victory.

It's such a shame to see Queensland struggling at their primary field of excellence.

  • Sign Haas!

    • Ok I'll reach out.

      • It'll take at least a reach around

  • Perfect time to raid the donkeys

  • I must admit I was keen on McDermott but Maguire was my second pick on the back of his Rep success.

One of the rare times lately that it seems our administration got it right

  • maguire  , Walters  , i mean  who's  next ,  imo its the actual  personal  on the  field thats lacking  that grit  ,certain  individuals  standing back just waiting  for miracle  plays to happen, haas lacks support  in mungrol and aggression from the rest of his  forward pack. broncos  similar like  Queensland  who are losing  that aura of intimidation and choosing to look beauty over  beast  .
