Lorenzo kills it again in flegg

Not sure who watches lower grades or not but Lorenzo was dominant today again in flegg.

seriously impressive for a SG ball player to be this influential in Flegg.

He needs to be fast tracked to Cup sometime this year but he has more than answered any questions of him at this level.

The fight for the 6 jersey in the preseason will be massive

  • EA how did Funa-Iuta and Talagi go? I saw Funa-Iuta got on after 20 odd minutes and i dont think he came back off? Great to see him get big minutes.

    • Jez played a bit of middle and edge from memory. He is running hard. Talagi only came on as 18th man HIA sub. He ran hard too. Both are prospects but as a forward still some time away from all age footy.

      • I reckon you will see Funa-Iuta playing some Cup pushing for NRL next year, Talagi still being 18 this year will push for Cup too but NRL 2027, maybe if good enough gets a debut in 2026 but no rush.

Ideally a Prop pairing of Tuivaiti and Talagi is where Ryles wants to be i reckon.

        • I think personally thats too much. Jez wont be playing NRL next year. I recon he will spend the full season in JF and perhaps a couple games in cup.

Talagi will start the year in ball next year and play the remainder of the year in JF. I recon he will only play cup in 2027.

          • Could be right and i'll take you word for it. Though Tuivaiti i would have said the same with limited Cup footy but he went straight into FG. Not saying Ryles will do that but might like to see these kids in Cup sooner perhaps.

It is exciting though to have talent to keep and eye and see how they develop.

        • Different ball game NRL tuivaiti or whatever has got a long way to go.

          • Firstly, cannot even confidently say his name with respect. Secondly he is only 7 games in I know, but he still debuted earlier than anyone thought he would is what I'm saying, meaning he impressed Ryles enough and took the opportunity when given.

Talagi etc could do same in 2027 even.
