Inside word I've been hearing is that Parra were in the running for Keaon Kalamatangi, that changed Friday when the Roosters jumped in with their '300k (per year for 3yrs) third party property portfolio'.

Back to the drawing board Mark O'Neill. Again!!!!

  • Is it Mark o'neill's fault the roosters have more money to offer?

I was hoping we could blame global warming or ISIS

    • True, he is working with what he has.

Plus Roosters have a prestige about them that only a few clubs can match.

    • Third biggest CBD in Australia, yea you'd think we'd having more pulling power.

  • I also think Ryles doesn't have the attraction as yet , hopefully in time

  • That's what it takes to play with the big boys. Man up Parra and start using the tools that allow us to compete. No one is going to do it for us. Those in charge should be making moves to put us in a position where we can offer more attractive deals like the Roosters. If we don't have the people who can make it happen, what the fuck are we even doing?

    • Eels are club who have to develop from within and then retain. Guys like Moretti Tuaviti and Guymer. Just don't have the third party backing to go with the top notch clubs

      • Sorry Eli these guys you named won't win us a comp.

        • Definitely not, but it's a must to retain them. Landing a big fish is not easy for this club

        • Tuavaiti could be up there with another season under his belt. Uncle Nick has been rorting the system for many years and the NRL turns a blind eye.
