Parramatta upgrade offer to Gutherson

A Blip on the Radar or Reason for concern

It’s easy to over react to loses and just as easy to think we will win the Comp after a few good wins. Even the most half glass empty Parramatta follower would have to acknowledge that our performances prior to last weekend demonstrated a totally dif

R5 Preview: Eels vs Raiders

This week sees the two over-achievers of the competition thus far - the Eels and Raiders go head-to-head in a battle that will mark one of them as serious contenders.

There are plenty of parallels between the two teams. Last year, both teams under-pe

Folau’s Contract Terminated. Would you sign him?

2020- Who do we re-sign?

Eels have a ridiculous amount of players off contract for next season. Huge decisions need to be made about which players need to be retained, and who to let go. Here is my take on the players

1. Clint Gutherson

Clint has only been an outstanding play

A new team is born!

We now have the spirit, we have the depth to cover injuries, we have the forwards,  we have the backs.  Coach haters, BA is going no where so pull your heads in. Could not be more proud of these guys.  Alvaro, endlessly bagged and look what he did to

Brown out indefinitley - a big blow

Parramatta will be without Dylan Brown indefinitely after the teenaged playmaker was forced to take time off to deal with a back problem.

Brown has been hampered by the ailment for some time, often missing opposed training sessions to avoid aggravati

He’s in no rush to re-sign with the Eels.

Ouch.

I backed him as a very good acquisition during the off season and nothings changed, im backing him to gain cult status with us if he can k

Hoffman, Parry or Salmon to replace Jennings

Surely they should leave the backline as much as is as possible and put a direct replacement for Jennings into centre.

That probably rules out French. Hoffman was the last reserve back standing last week and is probably the safest choice, especially i

Eels in All Stars Game

Surprised there hasn't been a blog created about the performance of our three Eels who played in the All Stars match last Friday night.

Thought I may as well start one up as it was exciting to see French, Taka and our new recruit Fergo for the first t

Brown - our only hope?

Excuse the pessimism,  but I can't remember entering a season with so little hope for what the Eels might achieve. Even when we collected those consecutive wooden spoons in 12 & 13, we still had Jarryd Hayne who, love him or hate him, was capable of
