There’s a reason he’s playing first grade at 18. There’s also a reason why B Smith and O’Sullivan judged him worthy of the biggest offer ever for a player yet to play first grade.
I agree we shouldn’t lose our heads, but this is not your average debutant. It will be massively disappointing if the Eels can’t secure this kid that we’ve brought along. Unlike the Cowboys with Ponga, we’re not stretched covering our other superstars. Any other club would be locking him up.

Smith couldn’t tackles, barely hard a running game and had off field problems. None of these seem to be problems with Browns game.
But man could that kid kick and pass . Still belive he would’ve been more skillfull than Johns had he had the right guidance . Shame .
