Only 3 games into his eels career, plenty of ups and downs from Pezet but for the most part he seems a solid young half. His defence needs a lot of work but not sure moving to Brisbane and facing all of that pressure is going to help him. Looks like he needs a good 2-3 years next to Mitch working on his game. I wouldn't mind it if he backs out of broncos deal to stay at Parra long term probably best for his career moving forward

I was very disappointed with the way Moses played yesterday,at on point he passed inside that had the defence all over the attacker when if he had ofbpassed outside where parra had the numbers to score
He was a bit off yesterday but still a decent outing. Easily outplayed dragons halves lol. Few bad options taken but
Hunt and Reynolds both great but also retiring. They'll be gone target is firmly going to be on Pezet head
If Pezet is still on the scene, one of those two will be playing and the other coaching......I think you may find that Broncos will look for a proper half!
I'll pay $4 a litre to drive him up to QLD tomorrow myself.
I''ll pay you for the accomodation if you get tired and some rope to make sure he doesn't get away before you get to the boarder.!!!!
Love your work Poppa
His defence requires work, it's a bit of a comedown from Dylan Brown.
He has an x-factor about him, he always has a threat to him in attack and is a good kicker.
So overall he's good. But he's here for 1 year and so we need to maximize his good and cover his bad. i.e. his edge needs to cover for him (Kitione did well the other day against Dragons), and give him space in attack (need our fowards get meters).
I think the attacking side can happen well especially later in games. So we need to drive him there.
Otherwise, he's the Broncos problem.
I am not excusing losses or poor defence but people have to have realistic expectations of where we are as a side.
Outside round 1 vs Melbourne we have managed to score plenty of points with Pezet more involved in tries then Moses.
His defence is a concern but it is early in the season and we are 2 wins from 3 after 2 really hard road trips. Even though people got their hopes up for round 1, most of us saw us using finishing the year in the 7-10th spot and teams finishing in those spots usually have average defence. If we make the 8 and win a final or 2 would people then consider the Pezet signing successful?
I think we need to judge Pezet and the team after a few more rounds because as a team we have been on the back foot due to our forward pack being steamrolled. Add in new 6 again interpretations which have changed the game and the pace of games means most teams are still adjusting.
If we keep Penrith below 30 points after how they have looked so far I would consider that a good performance for where we are as a team and our expectations to finish in the 8.
Pretty much where I am.
