Only 3 games into his eels career, plenty of ups and downs from Pezet but for the most part he seems a solid young half. His defence needs a lot of work but not sure moving to Brisbane and facing all of that pressure is going to help him. Looks like he needs a good 2-3 years next to Mitch working on his game. I wouldn't mind it if he backs out of broncos deal to stay at Parra long term probably best for his career moving forward

He is a long-term prospect for the Broncos, they're looking ahead at life after Reynolds and Hunt. Sadly, the Broncos will be all over him like a rash if he isn't immediately performing. They're becoming probably the worst fans with their expectations and pressure at the moment.
I'm not sure he is the solution the Broncos need.
I don't like his chances up north, he needs a few more years developing before he leads a team like that. Maybe Anasta can see how that's playing out and pull the pin on that move. I see a good 7 in Pezet but it's down the road a bit yet
I doubt Anasta would do that.
Well they are the biggest club in the NRL. They have the media on them all the time as it's just them and Dolphins but Brisbane would get all the talk id imagine.
Poppa you live up there, doesn't split 50/50 with Broncos and Dolphins or no matter the form Broncos dominate the news?
I'm not much of a fan tbh. Defence is very poor
Defence is definitely a big red flag haha, but in attack he's putting himself in spots to be effective. I'll give him a pass mark so far
He needs developing. Eels need a FG half today. It doesn't make any sense to persist with him. Cleary will destroy him this weekend.
Matt Burton should be our target if you want a ready now 6. Pezet most definitely is still a work in progress
Agree, if we want instant success Burton would be the best option for now, but we'd end up over-paying in a bidding war if he goes to the open market.
I would not be against Burton.
