I'm surprised we didn't offer an extra year until 2027 as all this means is he can negotiate with other clubs Nov 1 and with the Bears coming in he could definitely be a target for them
By 2027 we could have 2-3 juniours coming through. Alemaddine would be ready by then for example and we can spend the cap on a star left centre. We can still renew him anyway.

JAC has add so much to this club already. Both on and off the field. Happy with this. If his form holds up. I would like to see him retire. Stay on as outside backs coach.
Nothing wrong with the fox at all. What I'm calling out is that the club had a club option to extend him. They choose today to announce he has been extended by saying they have resigned him. Couple that with its announced the same day as Galvin goes to dogs announced.
'They are trying to reduce fan backlash 1. by pretending via wording that they have worked hard and resigned the fox when it was an activation of a club clause in the original contract. By extension they are saying they can work behind the scenes and sign players. The reality is they have missed another player they wanted.
