          • Eli, I have no idea what Sanders is on, as he went there for a chance at 7; Pezet would surely want a starting spot as he would be leaving a top 2 team for another team below; and Canberra he would also want a fair fee as its not the most desirable place but they are a team on the rise at the moment. I am still not sold on them tbh and happy to stand corrected for them for 2026. I would go for Sanders if Pezet signs in Canberra and lets be honest, besides Cronk who else has left Melb and been just as good elsewhere?

            • Hynes is coming good at the Sharks.

GI won a premiership at South's.

              • Yes Coryn, GI did win a comp but my point being not many have been better when they left.

Hynes has done well tbh but he is still a work in progress; Cronulla have decent defence.

            • Canberra would be a pressure cooker for him because that whole spine would be very young. Hopefully he picks Parra because he can learn along side Mitch and then eventually take the reigns. And it's freezing in Canberra F that 😂

              • Perfect fit if you ask me with an experienced premiership winning coach and a physical athletic foward pack outside of the weather I'm sure if they could organise after football payments TPAs and alike they'll manage to land him that is if he wants to go there but imo Pezets best fit is at Canberra.

                • Yeah he's experienced but not sure in a positive way lol,  and yes you're correct he's a premiership winning coach  ,but  the bloke cashed in with Murray's side of Origin and Internationals and has been the games biggest choker of a coach ever since.  I'd say Stuart is the biggest fraudster of a coach in NRL history.  The way he bowed out this year was hilarious.

              • Remember Shaun Lane saying to Denan Kemp, he said to his agent I don't give a f*** where I go as long as it's not NZ or Canberra lol.

            • Inglis, Hynes and Foxx

            • At the same time Pezet at least won't be coming to Parramatta as the main guy, pressure not as strong on him.

        • Raiders traditionally struggle to get decent players to go to the nations capital and with both Joel Carbone the main recruitment officer and Mick Crawley the apparent mastermind to their resurgence both off to the Roosters (what a surprise) the Raiders might tumble just as quickly back down the ladder.

I see the Eels as favourites looking at this objectively, concerning to lose Lomax as coming out of our own end is a weakness so we desperately need a couple of line benders.

A middle who can absorb defenders early in a set and still make metres and an outside back who tears into the line with a quick play the ball and Pezet walks into a well quipped and well coached side.

Braith seems to be telegraphing linking with Ryles and being in Sydney is the preferred option.
