What choice did he have whos gonna turn their back on 14M ....I wish him the best but I think he will be a huge media target next year ...hope he withstand that .....could be another Ash Taylor...then again maybe he can improve and become a top teir 7....he is talented no doubt about it.
It would be interesting to know how much more he is actually getting compared to the contract he had at Parramatta. It wasn't as if he was on chicken feed with us, and his contract with Parramatta came with less expectation on him with Moses steering the ship. That's where he will fail at Newcastle. Expected to be the Moses equivalent. I can't see him lasting the full 10 years.
