Is tapau worth a look?

Sounds like he is done at broncos and he wants to come back to Sydney, would be cheap, plenty of experience and a big body?

My only concern would be the drama he might bring with him.

    • Agreed.

  • Anyone but Matterson

    • But he is our best forward in Reserve Grade!

  • No his a flop

  • He is a nutbag. Naming himself Kapaw in social media, then has a whinge about pronouncing his name properly as tapaoo instead.

    • Imagine the poor commentators , " Junior Barloooooor passes to Martin Tapaoooooowwww".  It's funny how these dopes wre quite happy to be the normal versions of their names all their lives and then all of a sudden when it's cool to be their " cultured " selves all of a sudden we have these versions that need to sound as if they've just climbed down a coconut tree on some secluded island.  I went to school with Paulo's and every fucking one of them and their extended families pronounced it exactly as it sounds , Paul-o.
Equally as funny are these indigenous that now have picked up these middle names 😂😂.  None of these people had these names as kids , now all of a sudden they're " Kenny Wijururuierj Thompson "

semms to be a trait that only the whitey indigenous have adopted to let everyone know they claim Aboriginal status .

      • Just as well Wizz you are not playing footy Wizz. Not sure if commentators could get your name out every time you got the ball before the fulltime whistle got blown ( Uncle Wizzardssleeve-indigenous-Elder-Freemason Hunter-He/Him passes the ball forward to Junior Barloooooo who is smashed by Martin Tapaooooooowoooo Cheers

      • To be fair I believe the pronunciation of names was a media driven thing rather than the players. I really don't think the players minded that much except for maybe Gagai (the poor bugger)

        • Everyone hates their name being pronounced wrongly.... coconuts I have known have been "tough" guys, hard to hurt, ready-to-rock., but poor at defending themselves in other ways. They can be oddly shy, and bereft of confidence when placed in "awkward" positions. My guess is they take a long time to get the confidence to speak up.
