Both Humble and Brendan Oake were last year found to have a returned a positive sample to the drug Methylhexaneamine and have been serving a provisional suspension until their appeal was heard.
Eels CEO Paul Osborne told 1Eyed Eel that Parramatta had successfully argued that neither Humble or Oake were aware they were taking a banned substance, after it was provided to them by a trainer at the Wentworthville club.
“They were satisfied that there was no attempt on their part to take a performance enhancing drug, and although it was in their system, it was accepted that it was provided to them unknowingly, and given their willingness to co-operate they amended the sentence to the amount of time already served,” Osborne said.
Humble has been in full-training and was now available to turn out for either Parramatta or Wentworthville on the weekend.
Humble will be joined at Parramatta training by Reni Maitua, who has also now finished his drug suspension, as of today.
