I could be wrong, but I believe the so called "information leak" was the mentioned intended player swap between the dragons and Parramatta where Jayden Sua is still a chance to be here this season, and the dragons are asking Parramatta to take Valentine Holmes off their hands as part of the swap. Thats what was mentioned.
Now if this was the case, I wouldn't be in favour of having Holmes at 31 years of age and is in shocking form at Parramatta. I think it would be a bad value move, and a step backwards for the Parramatta.

Ok let's say that is the case Chief, I agree that is a poor trade. But it is not so much us asking for Val, it is similar to how we tried to get rid of Matto to free up cap space. They want Val off the books for 27'. That's makes sense. If we agree to it then they are idiots. But I wouldn't think getting Su'A now with his injury would do much anyway.
